Huawei Echolife HG520b

Hi guys, I have a Huawei Echolife HG520b and following instructions from this site, Ifound the settings for it.
i notice that there is a LAN and a wireless LAN setting and that I can disable the later.

As my router is wired to the computer by either net cable, if I disable the wireless LAN, will I still be able to use the either net cable to connect to the internet, and will I be able to turn on and offthe wireless at will.

yes you can disable the wireless radio for security and continue to use the ethernet on the router normally.
