I recently purchased a stick of corsair 512MB PC2700 which supposedly can run at CAS 2.0. However, my bios doesnt let me change my setting from 2.5T to 2.0T. My system is:

Pentium 4 1.8GHz Processor
Soyo P4S Dragon Ultra mobo
Corsair 512 MB PC2700 C2 Memory
PNY Verto GeForce4 TI4600 Video Card

Im thinking it might be a bios issue, because as soon as I change the value to 2T, it automatically switches back to 2.5T.

Can anybody help? Thank you.

make sure the ram options are set to manual or user select.

Yeah, that would be your problem. Set the dram timing to userselect/manual, then you should be able to set your timing. I did mine yesterday!

I have award bios. I dont see any option for user select, but maybe its just me. If anybody has the same mobo as me, could you direct me to where that setting is? Thank you.

If the option isn't there...then that just sucks. If your BIOS won't let you change it to 2.0, then there is nothing you can do.

Let me know if you find it, though...cuz I was interested in putting together a couple of systems with the Dragon series.
