Linksys E3500 - Add Repeater Bridge

Hello,
I recently buoght a E3500 router for my home. I want to add my old WRT610n as a repeater bridge in my basement. The 610n has been flashed - whenever i try to get it going - WIRELESSLY - i get IP conflicts on the 2 laptops that we have. I have tried just about everything, but would love some help

make sure you disable the dhcp server in one of the routers and set the older one to bridging mode.
