During my Windows XP installation, after reading the Agreement, press F8, and then choosing which hard drives to install, it start to copy files, but it stopped, saying it can not copy some *.dll and *.sys files, but these files are already in driver C:, who knows what's happing here?
Verify that your hardware is listed on the <A HREF="http://www.microsoft.com/hcl/" target="_new">Hardware Compatibility List (HCL).</A>
Simplify the hardware configuration as much as possible by temporarily removing hardware not required by Setup (modems, sound cards, and network cards).
Make sure that you have the latest BIOS for the mainboard.
Try to load the operating system from DOS, or with Boot Disks.
