Hello there;

I need to get a part # for this gear that comes from the dual motor
assy. that drives the LCD panel in and out.

Here are some pictures of the gear. First, in the assy of gears and
second, alone by itself.

It looks to me like this gear could be a fairly common failure part.
Pioneer would not fax me an exploded view and I really hate to spend
$60 + shipping to get the part number so that I could order it.

I hope someone out there can help.

There is a service bulletin, but I'm not sure it exactly pertains to YOUR
gear. The main service manual isn't available to me - I'm not signed up as a
car-audio servicer.

I tried to send it direct - hope that's OK.
