How do i know which kind is quality pc2100 ddr

I want to get a stick of 512mb pc2100 ddr ram. Looking on pricewatch, I'm not sure where you start getting into decent quality, as opposed to generic which seems to often have problems.
Could someone give me some tips on what to look for to find the better quality stuff and the price estimate I should be looking for?
