How to join domain windows 7 home basic

Windows 7 Home Basic cannot join a domain. You will need to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate (you can use Windows Anytime Upgrade to do this) if you wish to use domain functionality.

Otherwise, you'll have to make do with shortcuts to locations on the server and provide credentials on demand.
