I have a Kenwood KD-500 direct drive table w/ a dead motor. Anyone
know of a source for the motor? The label on the motor reads:

DC 18V 33-1/2, 45 rpm
Model MKX-15F
Matsushita Electric, Industrial Co, Ltd.
Lot No. 23Dec77 NB

Any leads (or parts) would be appreciated!!

Pete

Out of production for eons. No known NOS AFAICT. You can either cannibalize
another TT or try to fit a more recent motor/power supply.

Pete,

Did you ever get your Kenwood turntable motor sorted out? If so I would like to hear how you got on as I still have a very sad motor in mine and have had no luck in sourcing a replacement.

Geoff.

Hello everybody
I recently have a KD 500 turntable from an Ebay bid.
Unfortunately it was arrived with the marble-like base irredeemably cracked.
The motor, and all the electronics are Ok (this is a 110 volt /60 HZ version)
So I can sell the motor, platter and lid that are all in perfect condition, or If any want to sell me an intact base w/o motor or one whith a dead one, it will be good too.
Regards
