I lost my IBM 60 GB 60 GXP today. I have to say IBM was rather nice about it, and offered the best Tech Support I have come in contact with yet.

None the less I lost a lot of data some of which wasn't backed up.

Anyone know a good Data Recovery place. IBM suggested some, but they were on the high end of the price bracket.

Thanks

Ouch, sorry to hear about that man. I guess you haven't been keeping up with the lowdown on the 75GXP and 60GXP deaths lately, huh? Oh well...too late now. :frown:

Anyway, I hope DriveSavers isn't one of those on the high bracket. They're in California, and pretty good from what I've heard from TechTV and a systems admin I know. Other than them, I'm not sure where else.

Oh yeah...do a search for "hard drive crash" at my website. You'll see why. Wait...here's the page: June 10th, 2002
