How to fix network problems when you change domain on windows 7

Changed domains how? As in the domain controller name has been changed, OR, you change the name of the domain you connect to? It wouldn't surprise me if network discovery changed w/ a domain change (perhaps all those prior devices are still on the old domain?), and this wouldn't affect email or internet access either since those are not network discoverable resources.
