I see that you have to get an 800 MHz stick in one of the slots to bring up a TH7II if you have 1066 memory. Does this have to match the 1066 in size (If I have 1x256 MB 1066 in one slot and 1X64 MB in the other slot, can I boot the system?)
Also, what is this about Contiuity RIMMs -- do I need these if I only have 1 pair of RIMMS?

It's not recommended to mix size and frequency of RIMMs.
Check your MOBO's documentation. If you can mix the smaller size and slower frequency will prevail.
You need a CRIMM for every RIMM you install unless you can afford to fill every slot!
