Partial proceeds from performance royalties of "Exits" are going to burn
victims units.

Check it out at our website.

Know how to get out, and take care.

The problem with "Exits", at least the recording that was on the web a
year or so ago, is that it is very dark, almost Leonard Cohen gloomy.

For jazz gigs, I wrote my own lyrics, using Neal Hefti's "Li'l
Darlin'" as the tune. May be modified to suit the circumstances:

Do you know where the exits are?
Are_they near or are they very far?
If you have to get out in a hurry,
Could you find the way in the dark?
Do you know where the exits are?

Where are the fire extinguishers?
And where can you find a fire alarm?
If you don't see any of these things.
Please tell the management.
Where are the fire extinguishers?

What if the lights should all go out?
It could happen here tonight.
Can you find you way out
And not panic along the way?
Do you know where the exits are?

There is no smoking allowed in here.
Thanks for helping to keep the air so clear.
You must go outside to light up.
There is a fine in New York State.
There is no smoking allowed in here.

We want you to have a really great time.
Have fun. Li'l Darlin', but keep in mind.
We know that safety is boring.
But we say it because we all love you.
Now we can start the show. Thank you. Thank you.

I like it.

And it's much better than burning victims units.
