Hard Disk Password

Hey,
I have a Hitachi laptop hard drive originally from a Acer Travelmate and is trying to fit it to a Toshiba. but it keeps prompting for a harddisk password. Anyone have any general passwords! oh yeah a friend as trouble remembering his Bios Password any one with a general overwriting password to help.

Try flashing the bios, the removing and setting any jumpers that might be on the hdd to factory defaults.

If that doesnt work there is a good hack for that, IE the fun way. but ill keep that to myself.
