Hey I am having trouble playing a DVD on my laptop. When I enter the disc, windows explorer can not browse it, it just says please insert disc.

Second on PowerDVD it says the disc is of unknown format.

I have the QSI DVD-Rom SDR-081 drive. Anyknow whats up?

The disc I am trying to play is also dual layered.

its possible ur dvd rom is unable to read the dual layer discs. if u have a known single layer dvd try that and see if it works. if it does then problem fixed - cant use dual layer dvds. good luck
