Have you installed Service Pack 2?

Have you disabled any of the Remote Access Services?

A couple of ideas:

Start taking out sticks of memory and see if a module has gone bad.

Flash the BIOS to the latest version. Clear the CMOS, set the BIOS at the defaults, format and reinstall.

Make sure the system is as barebones as possible before installing the OS. Take out all devices that are not absolutely necessary in order to get the OS on the hard drive in a functional state.

If you want to use a dual-processor system, and you wish to use a Microsoft OS on a desktop, you must use Win2K or WinXP. Win95/98/ME does not support dual-procs.
