Hello,
Has anyone here managed to sync their P900 using bluetooth ? If so what
am I doing wrong ? I can transfer files between the phone and PC, but
they don't work the same way. What I mean is this - if I send a file
from my PC to my phone, my phone simply reacts to the incoming
bluetooth connection and asks me to confirm that I want to accept.
However, if I try to send a file from my phone to my PC, I must first
tell my PC to receive a file, at which point it tells me it is waiting
for an incoming bluetooth connection. If I simply try to send using my
phone, the PC will not detect the incoming beam and wake up to it as my
phone does. Now I think this may be related to my second (and more
serious) problem which is :
My phone monitor does not detect my P900 even when it is within range
of my bluetooth PC. The little connection icon continues to indicate
no phone, and when I try to open my phone on the desktop the icon says
'not connected'. And yet, if I right-click the phone monitor icon in
the system tray and select 'connect to bluetooth phone', it tells me my
phone is already connected. I click OK, and the system tray icon
remains the same (ie indicating 'unconnected'). If I try to sync, it
tells me that no phone is connected.
Please Help !!! What am I doing wrong ? Both PC and phone have been
paired and are set to 'discoverable.

Mine is working fine
Prior to synchronise, i have to open in my BT manager a "BT serial
port" usualy it is the number "8" and it must be validated in the
"phone connexion link" software.

Be prepare when everything finally work that suddenly not work or work with
messages that the connection is failed or lot of strange behavior. Specially
if you have some marginal Bluetooth USB stick like Canyon or so because
everything depend on the software of the USB-BT producer!
Best luck!
P.S. Use for critical works (installing and backup - which not work
according to SE with BT) only cable connection!
Enjoy the P!
