I have had a Sony Ericsson V800 for a few days now and I am trying to get
some ringtones onto the phone. I have ran the ringtone files through the
DRM software and now my files have the extension .DM
However, the part I am struggling with is how to actually put them on the
phone. The only new thing I can see on my PC is a 'Removable Disk' in the
'Devices with Removable Storage' section when I click on 'My Computer'. So I
click on the 'Removable Disk' and went to the following folder \MSSEMC\Media
files\audio and I placed the ringtone files (.DM files) in the folder.
When I went to the phone to select them they did not appear.
What I am doing wrong? It is probably something stupid but I just cannot get
it to work.
Can someone please help me sort this problem.
I hope you can help.
I appreciate any help or information given.
Thanks!

Hi Neil,
As far as I can tell, you did everything correct.
Did you unplug the USB cable before checking for the files on the phone?
The Memory Stick (that actually gets connected as "removable drive" ) is
not accessible by the phone while the USB connection is enabled.
Apart from that, I did the exact same thing as you did. - the .dm files
should then be shown as .mp3 files with a key icon.
