USB mouse not recognized during Win7 Home Premium install

Hello,
I am trying to install win7 Home Premium onto a bare Bones PC but the mouse does not work. Checked mouse on another PC and it functions. Is there something I should be doing? I am using the USB 2.0 ports
Specs:
CPU AMD Fusion E-350, Dual-Core 1.60 GHz
Chipset AMD A45 FCH
Graphic AMD Radeon HD 6310
Audio Realtek ALC888S
Ethernet Gigabit LAN
Crucial M4 SSD 128GB
4 GB RAM

install drivers from the cd that came with your motherboard

Check to see if you can initialize the mouse via the BIOS. Also, try a different usb port

Changed port and now works. thanks really appreciate the help
