Synchronysing goes ok, but backup is impossible. The window is with empty
menu. Any idea?

Has to be attached to Sync Station rather than just bluetooth.

It is attached to Sync Station. My system is 98se, that seems to be a
problem.

What version is the sync software (does it specify 98?). Sorry if that seems
obvious.

I had problems initially setting up my sync software but I re-installed a
couple of times before it worked. Have now downloaded latest version from SE
website.
