IP adress problem, will not renew

Hello,

When I try to connect to the wireless internet I get the following message: "Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed: Renewing your IP address".

When I enter "ipconfig /all" in the command window, I get the following result:

C:\Documents and Settings\Sander>ipconfig /all

It seems to me (as a noob) that my IP adress is not normal... I already tried activating the dns client, RPC and DHCP in the services.msc, but that didn help.

Can anyone help me out on this one???

  1. Your wireless adapter is showing as "Media disconnected", which means it's either not installed correctly, or maybe installed ok but disabled, the wireless client software isn't running, etc. IOW, it's not able to get connected to the internet because it's not even running or available at the moment.
