Win 7 dual boot 32 64bit

I have win 7 64 bit installed on my laptop but I cannot get 64 bit drivers for my Alesis USB2 mixer. I was thinking of installing the 32 bit version either as dual boot or on a separate drive that I would swap with the exisiting internal drive. 64 bit has been activated. Will the 32 bit fial windows activation?
