Cas 2.0?

I'm a newbie to building my own system so working within a bios is new also. I bought 512mb ram Cas 2.0 but I want to know how I can look to see that it is 2.0, how do I check that? Thanks!

The BIOS can autoconfigure the RAM timing from the modules SPD, so check if the BIOS displays the timing. Otherwise, you may be able to get some info from the place where you bought it (or somewhere else where they have the module and lists the primary specs). If it really is CAS2 I guess you wouldnt be in doubt, since this is very often specified clearly. If everything fails, I guess there is only the hard way: Check the manufacturer and number on the chips, and find the datasheet on their website.
