I wonder if you can help me.

I have a Sony Ericsson V800 mobile phone and I want to backup the contacts &
other information in my phone i.e. ringtones & pictures etc to my PC so that
they can be restored if necessary.

So far I have only been able to successfully connect the phone to my PC with
the USB cable that was supplied with the phone.

Are there any file(s) that I can get access to from my PC when the cable is
connected that contain all the contacts information?
If I copy the file(s) to my PC is it simply a matter of copying the file(s)
from my PC back to the V800?

Does anyone know of any free software I can download that will backup the
contents of my phone (especially contact information i.e. name, all
telephone numbers, email address etc) to my PC?

I want to backup the contact information in particular so that if I have to
get a replacement phone I can simply restore all contacts information
straight from my PC without having to manually re-enter every single contact
into the phone.

I am sure it must be possible to backup the contacts, I say this because my
last phone was a Nokia and I was able to backup my contacts & everything
else on the phone using Nokia PC Suite.

I hope you can help me.

Any help or information given will be gratefully received.

Thanks!

Neil
