Why do i have to press wireless button on router everytime

Hi, can some one tell me why i have to press the wifi button on the router everytime i switch on my computer to get back on the internet? Its driving me crazy its a little impractical! Its only when i shut down laptop. Then when i power back up laptop i have to press the wifi button to go back on !
Its a live box ( orange network ) thanks for any help

maybe you did not setup your router correctly. I think you are talking about the WPS wifi button.

log into your router and disable WPS and setup the wireless network security using WPA2 wireless mode. Then enter the passphrase in the xbox the next time you connect
