Streaming questions

i have a 3mbps internet speed through windstream. My tested speed is close to the 3mpbs. I also am using a older Cisco-Linksys WRT120N Wireless-N Home Router. I am having alot of streaming issues from Netflix and Vudu. alot of buffering or lose signal completely. My question is should i get a faster internet speed or could it simply be my older wireless router? I really dont want to change interent provider but not sure if upgrading my router to say a Linksys EA3500 App-Enabled N750 Dual-Band Wireless-N Router would be the answer. any advise appreciated.

If possible, connect your Netflix/Vudu device directly to the modem and see if the problems continue or go away. That's your first clue as to whether it's a problem w/ your internet connection, or a local one (e.g., wireless).
