fasttrak100 tx2

I have a fasttrak 100 tx2 with 2 seagate 40 gig 7200 drivers on raid 0. and my xp boot time is about 15 secs.. I don't know why it is So slow.... I'm just talking about loading xp not the.. for the bios to see it..

I know it is pure drivers issus.. and i try old and new drivers nothing works.. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or it is my computer

It's not a driver issue. Seagate drives don't like RAID 0. In fact, it slows them down. This is a known issue without a current fix, sorry.

then How come my friend has the samething but he has the promise chip on his motherboard... And he has a fast boot up??

That's still not "slow". I would just like to point out that Seagate IDE drives don't benefit from RAID as other drives do.
