HP Pavilion a6430f wireless network hardware

Hello,
I have an HP Pavilion a6430f. It works fine when I plug in my wireless card. When the wireless device is plugged into the HP, none of my other devices can access the internet. When I'm using the wireless card with my other devices, the HP won't connect to it unless it's plugged in. Is there some kind of software or hardware that I need for my HP so that it can connect to my wireless card? Thanks.

you should focus your troubleshooting on the router itself. if the HP can access the internet just fine then it is working.
