Cd drivers for windows 7

Hello, my tech guy "reinstalled" my CD driver this weekend. Now, my cd won't open a cd in Windows 7. Seems it has reverted to before he worked on it.

Your CD drive doesn't need an "installed" driver.
If it did, you would never be able to install an operating system from scratch.
Check your Device Manager for bad installed devices.

A CD drive can change locations five times. Has your drive used up all its "DVD Region" locations?

try to uninstall driver for CD drive from device manager & restart you PC.. i will get installed automatically & check it now
