Hello, I recently got a Geforce4 MX 440 video card, which has S-Video output.

I've successfully run an S-Video cable to my TV and can switch between the PC monitor and TV as output for the video. However, I'd also like the AUDIO output to go to the TV as well.

Is there a way to carry the audio information over the same S-Video cable, in the way that many DVD players seem to do? Or do I just need to buy a cable to run from my sound card to my TV's RCA audio inputs?

Please help, thanks. :)

DVD players don't do it either, you need to run an audio cable to your TV with either one.

Audio will never go thorugh S-Vdieo. S-Video is video only. Goto your local Radio Shack and buy a Y adapter (Headphone jack to RCA) Plug in back of ur souncard and plug RCA cords from TV/AMP to back of Y jack.

Make sure as well that your AMP/TV is off when making the connection. Feed back can blow ur little TV speakers or damage what ever floor speakers you have connected to amp.
