Hi there,

I just got my notebook back from the computer repairman, the pin that connects to charger was broken.

Now after getting it back I have noticed I have a lot higher idle CPU usage. With No windows open or programs running it'll hover around 19% but jump up to around 50% + as well. Opening a window also makes it jump. I have gone into msconfig and disabled a few things as well as disabling all running tasks from task scheduler, but still getting the same high usage.

I'm out of town for a while so can't take it back shop for a few days, so I'd like to try and get it done myself. Any help would be great thanks.
