Rt click on desktop. Choose 'Screen Resolution' then 'Advanced Settings' to see which adapter you're currently using. Unsure why you have two available, selected in BIOS?

Sounds to me like the nvidia is an add-on card while the Intel is on board. If that is the case, then nvidia (PCIE) should disable intel when installed. Thats the same as on a desktop pc whith onboard GPU, if a PCIE card is installed the onboard is disabled by default.

Not that Im any kind of proffesional regarding computers, but the Acer Aspire 5745G is born with 2 "graphicscard".

The INTEL one, is used to save battery. But when Im plugged in I just want to run the the nVidia card all the time to make sure I have maximum proformance allways.
