Why do I have a boot choice? Help please...

I just instaled Windows 7 upgrade. Before I installed I selected to do a clean install and not to upgrade over win vista.

Now when I boot up my laptop, it asks me to pick an operating system to use Windows Vista or Windows 7. How do I remove windows vista? Did I not delete the old partition when I installed win 7?

I'm on a Asus G51vx by the way.

Should i even worry about this dual boot? maybe it will come in handy?
