Shouldn't deleting something on my PC delete those items on my Palm at the
next synch? I have some memos I deleted on the PC, but when I synch, the
Palm just puts them back on the PC. I made sure that it is not set for the
Palm to write to the PC in the Customization area of the Hotsync menus, so I
don't know why it is doing this. Any thoughts?

You may have your hotsync software set for the pda to over write your pc
version rather than it synchronizing the two. Look at your hotsync menu
under "custom" to check this out.
