W800i that's released on Aug 12th in the UK?

Well, you can see the differences in looks on www.sonyericsson.com. The
specifications listed are similar except the W800i is branded with the
"Walkman" logo which means it should have some additional finesses for MP3
and other media playback.

I believe the W800i will play music without turning the phone on so you
can use it on a plane, for example.

A k750 will accept w800 firmware which will make it, in effect, a w800.
The only real difference being the memory stick size that is provided
with the phone.

The w800 also comes with headphones with a different design, somewhat bigger
than the standard sonyericsson ones, and they are supposed to be "better".

The main difference is like stated above: the W800i comes with a bigger
memory stick and has a different look/casing. Other than that I think
they are pretty much the same phone.

k750's screen is so bad , indeed not as good as k700
March 26, 2006 12:58:15 AM

I've owned 2 Sony Ericsson phones and on both phones, the k700i and Z520a, the screen tends to smudge rather easily.... I was going to get the K750i, but the K790 is out soon. I want to get the k800i, but no! Seems like it might not work in the US. :(
