Does ECC on rdram even matter. Does it increase performance, stability, etc.

The more you run over a cat, the flatter it gets.

ECC is really only used for servers and other critical applications.
For average users it does nothing and its slower than normal ram, not to mention rediculously expensive.

Expensive, yes, and it reduces performance by 3%.
