what to do with old parts?

I come from the console world where I can take games and full systems to Funcoland or EB and get a big discount on my new gear. as you can see I'm not rich

So, since I am in the computer gaming world now is there a place to do this??

For instance when I want to dump my Vid card and move up to the latest and greatest is there a store I can pull the trade-in move? Prefer Online unless you know of a place in the D.C./ MD / VA area.

what you can do is that you buy a protection guarantte, you know if you buy a TV from bestbuy you can pay some extra to return it if it does not work, within 2 years. get the same for your hardware and return it for your money back when you want to upgrade.
