Sony note book driver help please

so im running the rc of windows 7 on my sony vaio vgn790g notebook. two problems that i have: the short cut buttons above the functions keys dont work ... and the touch pad has lost some but not all of its functionality. i cant seem to find a fix or drivers that will fix my problem... any suggestions

The functionality of your shortcut keys and touchpad was made possible only through software that was preinstalled on your laptop. You need to locate the program on Sony's website. Try doing searches for software for your notebook model.
