Does my desktop need a wireless card?

For the first time i just put together my own computer i have gotten
1. Case
2. Motherboard
3. Harddrive
4. Video graphics card
5. Power supply
6. Cpu
7. CD drive
8. two 4gb of ram (8total)
9. 7 fans

I cant find any local routers on it when i start it up and i think its because i forgot some sort of wireless card (not the usb port, i dont like using them) and i can connect wired but of course the routers in my sisters room XD

Any help????
