3900? Hmm, do you have 4X AA and 16X Aniso on?

Hmmmm. I got a sysmark reading of 76xx. I can't remember the last two numbers. But I am really surprised. I have the 8500dv AIO 64meg, which shouldn't be much different. It runs Max Payne at the highest resolution, and everything turned on at around 80fps. I think this card rocks if you want to have video capture, and 3d all in one.

My system
Asus A7V333 motherboard
512 megs of pc2700
Ati 8500dv 64meg
etc, etc,..

Yeah, mid 7k's, at least; if not the upper 8k's.

There's something skrewed somewhere. I'd start downloading Ati tweak programs, and making sure the fast writes/Agp4x/sidebanding is all on.

Unless you're running winme/9x. Then don't turn on sidebanding.

i reinstalled all the drivers and stuff... one thing i wondered about fast write.... which is not on and there is no option in the bios to turn on?

Hey I am in the same boat, bought an 64 AIW 8500DV and was so impressed I bought the 8500 128 version for my other computer. But I am just getting crappy performance. My FPS in games have drop dramatically, almost a third. Not sure what the problem is. Tried new drivers, a new cooler on it, and even formating the whole drive and starting again. No Luck yet but I will keep you posted.
