I have a Athlon K7 and i will buy a Hammer next year. Im going to buy a new PSU for me, and like to know if i buy a Pentium4 PSU it will work in my current PC and in the Hammer that im gonna buy. Maybe i should buy a ATX PSU? Also, who make the best PSU? Vendor, model, etc...
Thanks!

I'd recommend an Enermax PSU.

Why not an Antec? They're cheaper than Enermax and seem to be just as good. Perhaps they aren't but then again, it's worth looking into as they are cheaper and also automatically adjust their fans based on temperature whereas the Enermax requires you to turn a knob in the back.

I've never heard anything bad about Antec Trupower PSU's yet. There seems to be a cult following for Enermax, which is no problem really because computer components that work well for everyone are like finding jewels in the desert. But if you can get something cheaper that works as well why not?

This little cathode light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine!
