Bought about $300 of stuff from newegg... everything works nicely except my Santa Cruz. I bought it OEM if that matters.

I did a fresh install of XP and then installed the drivers from the CD. That didn't do much, still no sound. There isn't any output being shown on like the volume bar or anything, I did that "Santa Cruz Sound Check" that comes with it and it fails on the hardware part. Do I need to RMA this or is there some way to get it to work?

Thanks

If all your connections are right and everything is enabled you may have gotten a bad card, its definitely possible with an OEM purchase.

You never know what you can do until you try.

Did you try the newest driver on their web site?

Yeah, I tried the newest drivers... I really can't think of a whole lot else to do. Before I had it right next to my capture card and thought it might not be shielded perfectly so I moved it really far away, but it still doesn't work, so I guess I'll be calling someone up on Monday.
