PC2100 or PC2700

Assuming that I will be using a Gigabyte GA-8IRXP which states on its product page <A HREF="http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/products/8irxp.htm" target="_new">http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/products/8irxp.htm</A> that 200/266 memory can be used with it (pc2100), is it worth the 20-30 bucks more for pc2700. How much of a performance gain can I expect?

unfortunately, not very much as the PC2700 will be running asynchronously with the system bus speed.
(system bus = 2.1gb/sec, ram = 2.7gb/sec)

performance benefits arnt great, 5% max if that.
