I am having the following problem connecting my case fan and PSU to my ASUS P4S533 mobo:
Thermaltake case fan and Emermax PSU both have three pin connecors to allow mobo to control fan speed. Thermaltake has one yellow wire. Enermax has two yellow wires and one black wire. Although the mobo has two connections for fan speed, one is labeled PSU fan and the other is labeled case fan. The Thermaltake case fan will be mounted above the Enermax PSU and the cord can only reach the "PSU fan" connection on the mobo. Should I plug the fans into the wrong connections (PSU fan into "case fan connector" and case fan into "PSU connector") or should I try to get an extension for the case fan?
