Hi - I have just bought a USB Bluetooth dongle for my PC.
I want to be able to access the internet using my TT handheld. The s/w with
the TT was Web Pro (V.1.0) and I can't get any access.
Has anyone any ideas or suggestions for correction?
The dongle and the palm do see each other.
Thanks

Have a look in our Bluetooth Guides. There are instructions with

So far so good - I can now get a connection.
However it fail's with an incorrect 'host server' message.
Do you know what I should change the host server to? I am on cable which
gives me a new IP address each time I switch my pc on?
Thanks for your help.

if you're on cable

1. leave your PC on and you'll keep the same IP addy unless the timing
when the IP lease expires exactly coincides with another client lease
request in your zone/internet subnet.

2. request a hard IP from your ISP

Please don't top post. I've fixed the quoting in this message.

Actually the IP address from cable is irrelevant. The BlueTooth
connection sets up a *different* IP network and the PC would be
assigned a different IP address there than via the cable modem.
