Classic Doom 3 mod problem

I've just downloaded and installed the Classic Doom mod for D3. I've
installed the v1.1 patch as well.

I start the mod, select my rank and then nothing happens. It leaves th
ebackground pic and music but nothing happens. I can still move the mouse
around but all I can do is Alt-F4 out of it.

Has anyone else had that problem?
