Just got a CF62T and the screen background drives me nuts. All of the
background choices are so busy that they make it difficult to see the
useful content. I'd like to find some way to load a BLANK background.
Anyone know how to do that?

Thanks.

I posed the same question to Siemens and this is the reply:

<snip introduction>

I understand that you would like to have no background image on your
phone.

I'm sorry but it is not possible. Deleting the background image will
make the default T-Mobile background appear.

I hope this has brought resolution to your issue and that I was able
to be
of assistance. Your case number is 417589. Please contact us if you
need
further assistance. You can visit us on the web at
http://www.siemens-wireless.com. We also have our Customer Care
Hotline
available Monday through Saturday from 8AM until 8PM Central Time at
888-777-0211.

Thank you for choosing Siemens; have a nice day.

Sincerely,

Korey

What that means to me is that "I don't have a boilerplate answer for
that one"

Of course it is possible . . . and I will do it.

He's right, you can't have NO wallpaper at all, but you CAN have a
single color wallpaper that would give you the end result you're
looking for.

Just make a dark colored background of one color (whatever you prefer,
I like dark blue) in jpeg format and put it on the CF62 and set it as
the background. Make the image size 100x100 pixels in whatever
graphics program you use.

This works on my CF62 for wallpaper, as well as my S55 for the
screensaver display.
