Since my laptop only has USB 1.1 ports, I'm thinking of getting a PCMCIA USB 2.0 adapter (2 ports should be enough). The laptop also has 2 PCMCIA card slots, and the top one is used by a wireless card. The problem is that it probably won't fit since at the end, the height of the card increases (like in this picture, for example, http://www.allcam.biz/images/pcmcia_usb.jpg). Are there any flat PCMCIA USB 2.0 adapters? Or will 2 cards actually fit together?
