Modem compatible with AT&T internet service

Are any of these also compatible with AT&T? I'd like to be able to reuse the equipment if I switch service providers. I've wasted so much money repurchasing over and over & renting is silly. Thanks.

all modem listed are cable modems, you need DSL modems
