Intel Extreme Graphics 2 question.

Hi, I am thinking about getting a dell 3000 series. But they only have
integrated Intel Extreme Graphics 2. Will it be a sufficent video card?

Well, depends on what you want to do.

For Warcraft, Diablo2, surfing & microsoft office - yeah, it'll be
plenty.

For recent action games like Doom3 - no, you'll need to buy a better
gfx card.

If you are a computer gamer you will avoid those kind of Dell's like the
plague. They sometimes don't even have agp or pci-e slots to have a chance
at upgrading. Any gamer foolish enough to stick himself with one of those
ends up giving it to grandma and buying a real computer.

My old Voodoo3 played Half-Life competantly. So that's not saying much for
the Intel Extreme.
