Windows 8 consumers preview installation error

Hello,
i installed win 8 consumer preview from official website of Microsoft but en error occurred when the screen was showing using registry settings....it says "windows installaiton can not be compeleted.restart to start installatio again" then my windows 7 previous version was restored.....
..........
my system has
320 gb hard disk ( 17.7 gb free in c drive)
32 bit windows 7 ser pack 1
2 gb ddr3 ram
Intel P4 dual core 2.7 GHZ Cpu..


please give solution to this error

Hello Sritic;

You're critically low on free disk space.

And you DON'T want to be replacing Windows 7.
Win8 Consumer Preview is a beta release - it's out for testing - and not meant as a replacement for Win7.

20GB free space is what you need for for Win8 64-bit installation.
And you need more than that if your Win7 installation is going to be saved in Windows.old folder.

What I did was, utilising another PC, to copy Windows 8 in a DVD (ISO Image), and then, utilising this DVD with the Windows 8 , I installed this sw in my pc with no problem. Try this.
